Kearney Woman Gets Jail Time And Probation In Impersonation Case

YORK- Sharin Wallace, 25,  from Kearney has been sentenced to jail time and probation in a case where she posed as a relative after being caught shoplifting in York. She was sentenced Monday in York County District Court. Per a plea agreement, Wallace pleaded no contest to criminal impersonation, which is Class 4 felony, and theft by shoplifting with a value less than $500, which classifies as a Class 2 misdemeanor.

Her sentencing of probation is three years. She also will serve 12 two-day stints at York County Jail. These stints will allow her to keep her job and serve the time at the end of the week. Wallace has been sentenced to two 30-day stints in jail in the future, which can be waived if she is complying with her probation terms.
