Kimball City Administrator Search Hits Setback

Kimball City Administrator Search Hits Setback

It’s back to the drawing board for the Kimball City Council, as they continue their search for a new City Administrator.

Mitchell City Manager Perry Mader was scheduled to interview tonight for the position before the Council, but he was offered a restructured contract last night by the Mitchell City Council, and will not be leaving his current post.

Back in September, the Kimball City Council voted 3 to 1 against Mayor Keith Prunty’s selection of City Treasurer Annette Brower for the post, prompting a restart of the process. In November, the Kimball City Council interviewed two new finalists- Jonathan Cannon and Alan Lanning, but both finalists ultimately accepted job offers elsewhere
