KNEB Receives Three Nebraska Broadcasters Assn. Pinnacle Awards

The Nebraska Broadcasters Association announced their 2019 Pinnacle Award winners Wednesday night, with KNEB honored with awards in three categories.

The Scottsbluff radio station was selected for a silver award in Service to Agriculture for Farm Director Chabella Guzman’s story ‘Tracing Cattle’

Guzman’s story ‘FFA Greenhouse’ was selected for a bronze in the Service to Children category, and KNEB’s ‘Rural Response Hotline’ also garnered a bronze for Service to Community.

KNEB Station Manager Bill Boyer said “We are honored by the recognition we received tonight from the Nebraska Broadcasters Association. We consider it a privilege to serve the community, children, and agriculture everyday and I am so excited that Chabella and our staff were recognized for their hard work.”

The awards were announced on the final night of the NBA Convention in LaVista, following the induction of Steve Altmaier, Ken Fouts, and Kent Pavelka into the NBA Hall of Fame during a banquet Tuesday evening.
