Nebraska’s Presidential Electors Finalize Presidential Election Results

Nebraska’s five representatives for the Electoral College have completed their task of casting ballots for President and Vice-President, with four going to President Donald Trump and Vice-President Mike Pence, and a single vote to former Vice-President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

As six sets of originals were signed by all those involved at a state capitol hearing room in Lincoln, Secretary of State Bob Evnen took a moment to thank the hard work of election officials in his office, every county and the volunteers across the state “who worked so diligently and were so dedicated and committed to conducting this election this year, under very difficult circumstances of a pandemic, and of the other aspects of balloting this year, of which we’re all aware.”

Two sets of the officials documents are headed to each of the National Archives and the Nebraska Secretary of State’s office.

A single set is also sent to the President of the U.S. Senate and the Chief Judge of the District Court of Nebraska.
