YORK- The city of York has been granted more funds for the final phase of the Downtown Revitalization Project. With this phase, York was awarded $445,000 and $400,000 to be used for projects. The minimum award will be $1,000 and the maximum of $50,000 per project. This is a matching grant. Property owners will be required to put in 25% of matching funds towards the entire project.
Applications are available at the Chamber Office now and will be available on the York Chamber of Commerce website in the next few weeks. The Chamber of Commerce homepage can be accessed here.
Executive Director of the York Chamber of Commerce Madonna added this about the new grant, “The Chamber has taken a very large role in the administration of the first phase and we look forward to doing the same for the next phase as well.”
