Scottsbluff Police are still searching for clues that may lead to the identity of the individual who attempted to rob a delivery truck driver in front of the Scottsbluff Walgreens on Thursday.

Chief Kevin Spencer says it’s hard to know exactly what the suspect was looking for in the truck. “This particular vendor had everything on the back of his truck. It’s a freight company out of Cheyenne that had drop offs at Walgreens, some of the automotive stores, so he had a variety of products on the back of that truck ,” says Spencer, “And it would be impossible for anybody to know what was in the totes because they’re not marked.”

Spencer said they are hoping anyone in the neighborhood west of Walgreens who may have surveillance video check to see if there is anything that may be useful and contact Scottsbluff Police so they can review it.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or black male, 20-30 years old, approximately 6’ 2”, wearing a black jacket/coat, tan colored hat, tan colored pants with military like jungle boots. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Scottsbluff Police Department.
