(UPDATED) Vehicle/train collision near York results in one fatality

YORK COUNTY- A man has died after being hit by a train. The incident occurred on Road K west of York. The accident happened at approximately 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday morning. The deceased man has been identified as Travis Stoltenberg, 45. His addresses are listed as York and Libby, Montana.

According to the York County Sheriff’s department, Stoltenberg was not in the vehicle when the train came through. The vehicle was parked on the tracks and he was standing on the tracks when he was then hit by the train.

The York Sheriff’s department and York Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.
