West Central District Health Department risk dial moves up

November 6th, 2020 | Chris Cottrell

North Platte, Nebraska –The risk dial moved from a 3.0 up to a 3.12 this week, which remains within the elevated risk level.

There were changes in the following variables that contributed to movement in the dial:

We had an increase in the following:
– Measure ID R4: Average Daily Hospitalization
-Measure ID R8: Testing Availability

With community partnership, wearing a mask in public, social distancing, avoiding crowded  places, avoiding close contact, and avoiding confined spaces, we can flatten the curve of
COVID-19 in our area.  #MaskUpAmerica #WearAMaskForMe
