York City Council Meeting to be Held at Holthus Convention Center

YORK- This Thursday, June 4th, the York City Council Meeting will be held at the Holthus Convention Center at 7:00 P.M. This will be the first meeting in person since March when the COVID-19 Pandemic began. A topic of discussion that will receive a lot of attention on Thursday will be the allowance of group homes in residential areas of York. Ordinances have been put before the council for this topic. It came to the attention of the city when New Life Place proposed establishing a living facility on ninth street that transitions female inmates that are leaving custody.
