March 16th, 2020 | Amanda Mendoza

YORK- A suspension of public access to city facilities in York is in place due to the public health threat of COVID-19.  The facilities will follow the direction that schools in York have chosen, in closing. The library and community center will be closed at the end of their hours on Monday, and officials will reassess the situation over the weekend. Announcements regarding the reopening or maintaining of the closures will be made Sunday afternoon, as far as the library and community center are concerned. As the state of Nebraska has upgraded protocol, the city has too. As of right now, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in York or York County.
