LINCOLN- It was another five-set match in which #3 seeded BDS was able to win, as the Eagles took down #2 seeded Wynot in five sets on Friday in Pinnacle Bank Arena. The teams traded sets as Wynot took the first and third. But a monster fourth and fifth set from BDS led them to victory.

The fourth set was primarily led by Wynot, but the Eagles came out on top 30-28. Then in the fifth set, it was all BDS as they won 15-2. The Eagles were led by junior Macy Kamler and her 20 kills.

For Wynot, they will play Lawerence-Nelson in the 3rd and 4th place match on Saturday at Lincoln East at 11 A.M. For BDS, they return to their second straight state championship match, this time it will be against #5 seeded Humphrey St. Francis. You can catch the contest on 104.9 Max Country with pregame at 8:50 A.M. and first serve at 9:00.
