YORK- Yesterday, the York Dukes took down Aurora in the B-7 Subdistrict Tournament 9-1. On Tuesday, it was a similar result for the Dukes as they won 11-1 in four innings. It was a strong output of offense including three home runs in the contest, including Meaghan Rowe’s lead-off longball to start the game. Lauryn Newmann hit one as well, and ironically enough, the game ended with a home run by Jami Hoblyn to give the Dukes the 10 run-rule victory in the fourth inning.

The Aurora Huskies end the season at 12-20. York moves to 15-11 and will play in a District Final on Friday.
