(Audio) BDS And Sutton Split Games

SUTTON- BDS made the trip to Sutton on Tuesday night and the Eagles won the girls game 56-50, while the Mustangs took the boys contest 64-29. The girls’ matchup was a great one in which it took an overtime period to decide a winner. The teams were tied up at 44 heading into the extra period, but a 12 point outburst from the Eagles distanced themselves to get the victory.

BDS had three players in double figures including Taylor Sliva and Regan Alfs each with 16 and Rylee Haecker added 15. For Sutton, they were paced by Kate Griess as she poured in 11 points.

In the boys’ game, from start to finish it was all Mustangs. They recorded 12 three-pointers in the win. Sutton was led by Jacob Haight and his 12 points. Eric Schroeder and Kyle Ardissono each had seven for BDS.

For Sutton, they now face Hastings St. Cecilia on Friday. BDS will battle Cross County on Friday and you can listen to the game on KOOL Radio 103.5 FM and 1370 AM.
