In High School Basketball Action aired on 107.9 the Bull Thursday night, North Bend Central defeated West Point-Beemer 46-38 in the Girls C1-5 Sub-District Final from North Bend.
The Tigers got out to a 13-11 lead at the end of one, and outscored the Cadets 11-5 in the 2nd quarter to take a 24-16 lead into the locker room.
NBC won the 3rd quarter 8-6 to go up 32-22 at the end of three.
West Point-Beemer won the 4th quarter 16-14.
Sydney Emanuel had a team-high 14 points to lead the Tigers while Kaitlyn Emanuel and Ally Pojar were also in double figures with 11 and 10, respectively. Sidney Swanson had 32 points in the losing effort for the Cadets.
North Bend Central improves to 20-3 on the season while West Point-Beemer falls to 19-5.
The two teams will rematch in Sub-State at North Bend on Friday, February 26th at 6:00 p.m. That game will be broadcast on the Bull.
