BDS Sweeps Hebron in Legion Baseball Wednesday Night

DAVENPORT- It was a pair of games that BDS was able to dominate in Legion Baseball action Wednesday night as the juniors won 10-2 and the seniors were victorious 18-10 over Hebron. According to box scores, both teams won in the fifth inning via the eight-run rule. In the juniors matchup, it was a strong 1st inning and fifth inning for BDS in which they scored nine of their 10 runs. Tanner Bolte was fantastic on the mound as he went five innings strong only throwing 54 pitches, and allowing just four hits.

In the seniors game it was an offensive show with four combined home runs. BDS hit three of them as Dylan Blackstone, Dalton Kleinschmidt, and Dominick Quinones all went deep. The BDS juniors are now 5-9 and play Twin River next Tuesday. Hebrons Juniors are now 4-3 and play Fairbury Sunday. BDSs seniors move to 9-6 and will play in the DCB tournament this weekend. Hebrons seniors are 1-6 and will take on Wymore tonight.
