BDSs Season Ends Against Mullen

LINCOLN- BDS and Mullen battled last season in the Class D2 quarterfinals at the NSAA Girls State Basketball Championships and it was BDS who won 36-34. This year in the first round it was another close game but this time it was Mullen who won 60-54, capturing their first-ever victory in the state tournament.

For BDS, Macy Kamler had a big game with 30 points as BDS ends the season at 18-6. For Mullen, Samantha Moore had 27 points and surpassed 1,000 career points also in the effort. The Broncos move to 26-1 and they will face Humphrey St. Francis Friday at 3:45 P.M. in the semifinals from the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
