Briar Cliff Men drill Presentation

Briar Cliff Men drill Presentation

BC men’s basketball stayed perfect Saturday night as the team topped Presentation 112-71 in Aberdeen, South Dakota and moved to 5-0 on the season.

The first points of the contest did not come until more than two minutes in, when Jackson Lamb hit a 2-point bucket. Presentation hit a three to go up 3-2 in the next possession, but it was all BC from there as the Cliff went on a 15-0 run over the next two minutes to force a timeout by the Saints with 15:04 on the clock in the first half. BC led 58-39 after the first 20 minutes.

The Cliff’s dominance continued in the second half and all suited Chargers were able to see the floor en route to the 41-point victory. Jackson Lamb led all players with 20 points to go with four rebounds. Ethan Freidel added 19 points and had four assists. Codey Hicks grabbed a game-high six boards and Andy Geelan added five rebounds. BC’s bench contributed nearly half of the team’s scoring with 49 points, led by 14 points from Thomas Hensley.

Andrew Woodward, Jackson Becker and Ange-Michael Kuo each put up 12 points for Presentation. The Saints fall to 1-4 on the season.

The Cliff will now look ahead to Tuesday night as the team will travel to Forest City, Iowa for a game against Waldorf. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
