CRC Monday results, championship match set

YORK – The semifinals and first consolation matches of the annual Crossroads Conference volleyball tournament saw plenty of action Monday. In the first semifinal game, #6 Cross County took #2 Exeter Milligan to five sets. Cross County won the fifth set decider 15-8 for a 3-2 win (25-21, 25-18, 18-25, 18-25, 15-8), and will be in the Championship game tomorrow to play #1 BDS who swept #5 McCool Junction (25-21, 25-10, 25-12).
BDS will play Cross County at 7:45 pm Tuesday for the championship. Exeter Milligan will play McCool Junction at 6:00 pm. Both of those games can be heard on 104.9 Max Country.
Also, Monday at the auxiliary gym at York High School, the first consolation game between #9 Osceola and #12 East Butler saw a 2-0 (25-10, 25-14) sweep in Osceola’s favor. #10 Shelby-Rising City swept #11 Nebraska Lutheran 2-0 (25-10, 25-14) in the second game.
The second consolation games on Tuesday will feature #4 Dorchester and #8 Meridian at 6:00 pm, and #7 High Plains and #3 Hampton at 7:30 pm. Those games can be heard on KOOL Radio 103.5 FM, 95.9 FM and 1370 AM.
