YORK- #7 York hosted Holdrege on Tuesday night for a battle on the volleyball court, and it was all Dukes as they won in three sets. York came out with an aggressive tempo in the first two sets winning both 25-9. In the third set, Holdrege made an attempt at a comeback but the Dukes won 25-20.
Masa Scheierman was the go-to threat for York as she unofficially had 10 kills and six serving aces. York moves to 6-2 and will compete in the Gothenburg Tournament this weekend. Holdrege falls to 1-8 and will battle Hastings Thursday.
