From Thrillers To Blowouts, Mondays Edition Of The CRC Tournament Had It All

YORK- Quarterfinal action took place on Monday the York City Auditorium for the Crossroads Conference girls and boys basketball and with four games happening, a variety of outcomes occurred. One of the big shockers was #9 seeded Shelby-Rising City taking down the #1 seed BDS in the first game of the day on a free throw with no time on the clock by the Huskies Jordie Nekl. It was the only point she had in the game.

GIRLS-Winners in bold

(9) Shelby-Rising City 45 (1) BDS 44
(2) Exeter-Milligan 63 (7) Hampton 40

BOYS-Winners in bold

(1) Shelby-Rising City 78 (8) Nebraska Luthern 48
(7) Cross County 45 (2) East Butler 40

With four winners established last night, they have punched their ticket to the semifinals.

Four more quarterfinal games will happen this afternoon running into tonight and you can catch the action on 104.9 Max Country.

Tuesday, January 28th

-3:00 P.M. Girls: East Butler vs Cross County

– 4:30 P.M. Boys: Exeter-Milligan vs McCool Junction

– 6:00 P.M. Girls: Meridian vs Dorchester

– 7:30 P.M. Boys: BDS vs Osceola
