Hodsden, Seiler lead area runners at UNK Cross Country Invite

Some area cross country teams were back east on Monday afternoon competing at the University of Nebraska-Kearney Invite and there were some solid individual and team finishes.

Mitchell’s Regan Hodsden won the girls Class C race with a time of 21:23.23. That time helped Mitchell to a eighth place finish in the team standings. Columbus Scotus was the champion.

In Class B you had Gering freshman Madison Seiler finishing in second place with a time of 21:14.61 as Gering picked up a seventh place finish overall.

Scottsbluff was eighth in the team standings led by Brooke Holzworth’s 14th place finish.

On the boys side in Class C, Sidney captured the team championship.

In Class B boys it was Gering finishing in 11th place with Scottsbluff back in 17th place.
