SEWARD- It didnt take long to realize that Theo Hughes, the starting pitcher for the Seward Jays, was going to control the game from the mound. In the top of the first inning, he struck out all three batters. Then, reeled off 11 more punch outs for a grand total of 14 strikeouts en route to a 6-2 win for the Jays. On the offensive side for Seward, it was Gavin Sukup who was the leader as he went 2-3 with a pair of RBIs.
