SEWARD, Neb. – Concordia University Athletics and Max Country Radio (KTMX-FM) have announced the broadcast schedule for the fall 2020 semester. The slate that runs through early 2021 includes 17 Bulldog Coaches Shows and regular live coverage of football, volleyball, men’s basketball and women’s basketball. The 2020-21 athletic year will mark the sixth year of the partnership between Concordia and Max Country. More than 40 Concordia athletic contests will be aired live during the fall 2020 semester.

The first Bulldog Coaches Show of the new campaign is set for Thursday, Aug. 27. The show features interviews with in-season coaches and airs every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. CT on 104.9 Max Country, a station based out of York, Neb., under the umbrella of the Nebraska Rural Radio Association. Evan Jones will host the weekly show and will also serve as new play-by-play voice for football and basketball. Jones replaces Tyler Cavalli, who had filled the same role the previous four years. Frank Greene remains the voice for Bulldog volleyball. Fall sports on the radio are set to get started with volleyball on Sept. 5. Football will kick off the season at Doane on Sept. 12.

Max Country became the radio home of Concordia Athletics beginning with the 2015-16 athletics season. Fans who are outside of the range of 104.9’s radio coverage area are encouraged to download the Max Country app in order to listen to the Bulldogs from anywhere in the world. Games can also be heard online via Max Country’s website: https://1049maxcountry.com/.

The Concordia Sports Network will continue to provide live video webcasts that can be accessed via http://www.cune.edu/athletics/watch-bulldogs for the bulk of varsity home events. CSN will incorporate the audio feed from 104.9 Max Country into its webcasts for football, men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball.
