Morningside Volleyball picked to finish 6th in GPAC

SIOUX CITY, IOWA –Morningside College women’s volleyball checked in at number six in the Great Plains Athletic Conference preseason poll.  The Mustangs tallied 68 points in the opening ranking of the young season, released Tuesday, Aug. 6.

“I think that the teams that are in front of us definitely belong up there,” said Head Coach Beth Donnelly.  “That said, we had a really strong spring, and I think these girls are going to take this as a challenge and fight to prove that they’re better than the number six team in the rankings.”

Morningside’s GPAC season gets underway with a home match on Wednesday, Sept. 4th at 7:30 p.m. against the Flames from College of Saint Mary.
