Nebraska adds Pitt transfer to hoops program

April 6th, 2020 | Amanda Mendoza

Nebraska head coach Fred Hoiberg continues to be active in the transfer portal. On Saturday Pitt starter Trey McGowens announced he will join the Huskers. McGowens will have to sit out next year and would have two years of eligibility remaining. He has averaged over 12 ppg for the Panthers and coming out of high school he was considered a top 100 recruit.

This is the third transfer addition for Nebraska in this cycle, as the guard joins fellow guards Kobe King and Kobe Webster, both of whom have already made known their intentions to come to Lincoln for next season.
