OAKLAND – Oakland-Craig received another stellar performance from Gunnar Ray, as the Knights beat Twin River 54-36 in the boys East Husker Conference basketball tournament quarterfinals aired on 107.9 The Bull Tuesday night.
Ray had nine of Oakland-Craig’s 14 first quarter points, 10 of their 21 second quarter points, and seven of their 13 third quarter points, while finishing with 30 on the game.
The Knights led 14-9 after the first quarter and 35-21 at halftime.
O-C also outscored the Titans 13-8 in the third quarter.
Twin River’s Weston Graham hit six three-pointers and finished with 25 points.
Oakland-Craig claimed their 15th win of the season, and will meet BRLD in the EHC semifinals at Midland University in Fremont on Friday.
