Seward falls to Crete

Class B Number 10 ranked Seward Bluejays fell to the Crete Cardinals 27-21 in action Friday night in Crete. Seward scored on its first possession and led 21-13 at halftime. The second half was dominated by Crete and their quarterback, Brandon Schmeckpeper. He led the powerful run-pass option attack. His 7 for 9 passing came at critical points of the game to lead the Cardinals. Seward falls to 2-1. Crete improves to 1-1. Next up for Seward is at home versus McCook on September 18 at Concordia University Bulldog Stadium.
