Seward Falls to McCook

Seward struggles at home versus #7 McCook at Bulldog Stadium on the campus of Concordia University. McCook’s senior running back Alec Langan ran 16 times for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead all rushers. McCook senior quarterback Mark Arp added an additional 90 yards on the ground.

The Seward defense had its hands full throughout the evening as the strong option attack of McCook scored 41 points during the game. Seward offense struggled to find a running game. Seward’s Gavin Sukup found senior tight end, Nathan Pence, for a couple of scores. Seward falls to 2-2 and McCook improves to 3-1. Next game for Seward is #1 Hastings on the road on September 25th .
