BOELUS- After both SOS and BDS started the DCB Tournament 2-0, they battled one another in the championship game on Sunday and it was the Rebels who won 14-6. Going to the bottom of the fourth inning, SOS led 7-6, but then the Rebels reeled off six runs to lead 13-6 heading to the fifth inning. In the bottom of the fifth, they scored one more run to make the score 14-6 and force the eight-run rule.
For BDS, Dylan Blackstone went 2-3 with 3 RBIs. Grady Belt went 1-3 with three RBIs and Tanner Wood went 2-3 with three RBIs for SOS. BDS is now 11-7 and will play Twin River Tuesday. SOS moves to 13-3-1 and will battle Tecumseh Tuesday.
