Wingard throws eight TD passes as SRC takes down East Butler

SHELBY – What a night it was for senior quarterback Collin Wingard. He threw a season high eight touchdown passes, along with 324 yards passing as his Shelby-Rising City Huskies (1-7) pick up the win 52-12 over East Butler (0-7).

Wingard first touchdown pass came in early in the game with a 24-yard touchdown pass to running back Grady Belt. Wingard threw three touchdowns total in the first quarter. His longest touchdown pass was the final one of the night, a 62 yard touchdown to receiver Hunter White late in the fourth quarter.

For East Butler, running back Trevin Brecka finished as the leading rusher in the game with 52 yards. He had one touchdown in the second quarter.
