YORK – Recent York graduate, Brady Danielson announced Tuesday on Twitter that he is decommitting from Northern State to play basketball.  While staying in the Dakota’s, Brady announced that he will attend Division I, North Dakota University to play basketball this fall.

Citing a coaching change at Northern State, Danielson was granted a release and will become a Hawk.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound guard was York’s leading scorer with 16.2 points per game. He averaged 23 points in three state tournament games, including a 25-point, seven-rebound performance in the Class B championship. He played both wide receiver and defensive back for the title-winning football team in 2017.
